Difficulty is an editorial estimate of technical and operational complexity, not a score.

The startup idea
Auralo posted on October 27 that the app is on the App Store. The maker kept waking up tired with an Apple Watch on, and built an app that says why. Free, no account. A reply links the store listing, and offers Auralo+ free for a year to the first ten people who reply, and half price to the next fifty. The listing, Auralo: Recovery & Sleep, is free. It turns data already in Apple Health into recovery, sleep, strain, stress, and energy, each with a plain reason. The numbers are worked out on the iPhone and the Watch. No account, no analytics, no ad trackers, no servers for the health data. Export and delete are free. Auralo+ is $1.99 a month or $19.99 a year, with a two-week trial. The plus tier is multi-week programs, trends over 90 days and a year, PDF reports, more than two friend challenges, and extra themes. The free app allows two challenges at a time. It is best with an Apple Watch. Other wearables that write to Health work, and so does an iPhone alone, with scores that say they are less sure. It is not a medical device. The minimum system is iOS 18. The post says free. It does not price the year of trends. This page did not read a night of sleep.
The opportunity is the morning sentence, with the reason, on data the Watch already stored. A smaller product is that sentence, the plus price beside it, and a less-sure label when there is no Watch. A free year of history is the gift post, not the store.
Do not call it a diagnosis. Do not hide the $1.99.
The problem
The Watch already recorded the night, and the morning still does not say why.
Who would pay for this?
- Primary
- Someone who already wears a Watch and wants a sentence in the morning.
- Secondary
- An iPhone-only user who will accept a less-sure score.
- Early adopter
- One morning verdict, the plus line visible, no account.
How could it make money?
Possible models. Nothing here is a claim about what Auralo charges.
- The app is free.
- Auralo+ is $1.99 a month or $19.99 a year.
- The post's year of plus is a reply gift, not the store price.
What would the MVP look like?
- One morning verdict from Health.
- No account.
- The plus price on the same page.
- Less sure, when the Watch is missing.
How to validate the idea
- Ask five people which charts stopped at 30 days.
- If the year opened without paying, the listing is stale.
- Do not treat a score as a medical result.
How to differentiate
- The reason sits next to the number.
- Health data stays on the phone.
- The long window is the paid part.
- Do not become a clinic.
Original product launch
This launch is inspiration and evidence that someone shipped, not a partnership. The idea above is our reading of the broader opportunity. Auralo did not write it.

Product that inspired this idea
The post says Auralo is on the App Store. It reads an Apple Watch and says why you woke up tired. Free, no account. A reply gives the store link, and a launch gift of Auralo+ for the first ten people. The store page says the app is free, turns Apple Health into recovery, sleep, strain, stress, and energy, and works the numbers out on the iPhone and Watch. No account, no analytics, no servers for the health data. Auralo+ is $1.99 a month or $19.99 a year, after a two-week trial. The 90-day and year trends, PDF reports, and more than two friend challenges are in the plus tier. It is best with a Watch. An iPhone alone still runs, and the scores say they are less sure. It is not a medical device. The minimum is iOS 18. The post says free. It does not price the plus tier. This page did not open Health.
