A second draft before you post
Score a draft against the job it has to do, then hand back two rewrites instead of a vague “make it better.”

Difficulty is an editorial estimate of technical and operational complexity, not a score.
Startup idea analysis by Startup Ideas. Last reviewed Oct 6, 2026. How we read a launch.
The startup idea
Hook Arena’s film is a small app: paste a draft post, let several model judges score it, and get a safer rewrite beside a bolder one. The post also quotes scores from one of the author’s own drafts. Those numbers are an example from the launch, not a benchmark.
The opportunity is the second draft, not a social network and not a general writing chat. A founder can pick one format people already publish on a schedule: a launch post, a changelog, an ad line. The useful output is a reason the draft is weak and two versions a person can still edit. If the score has no reason, it is a toy.
This sits on someone else’s models. That is fine if the product owns the rubric for one job. It is not fine if the product is only “ask a model to rewrite this.”
The problem
People publish the first version of a post, an ad, or a changelog because rewriting it is a separate job.
Who would pay for this?
- Primary
- Founders and marketers who post often and can tell a weak line from a strong one.
- Secondary
- A small team that wants one rubric for its launch posts.
- Early adopter
- Someone who already rewrites the same kind of post by hand.
How could it make money?
Possible models. Nothing here is a claim about what Frevana charges.
- Free for a few drafts. A paid plan when a team wants a shared rubric or a longer history.
- The launch does not list a price.
What would the MVP look like?
- One format.
- A short score with the reason.
- Two rewrites.
- The person can edit before anything is posted. The app does not post for them.
How to validate the idea
- Score ten of your own drafts. See if you would ship the rewrite.
- Ask five people who post weekly to bring a draft they are unhappy with. If they ignore both rewrites, the rubric is wrong.
- Charge only after someone wants the same check on every post, not after one impressive demo.
How to differentiate
- One format, with a rubric a human wrote, not every kind of writing.
- Two edits with reasons, not a score by itself.
- Never auto-post.
- Leave general writing chat to the models people already pay for.
Original product launch
This launch is inspiration and evidence that someone shipped, not a partnership. The idea above is our reading of the broader opportunity. Frevana did not write it.
