Shrey's post says RowTabs is a free, open-source, offline Airtable alternative. Editable Notion-style tables, 100 ready-made templates, an AI assistant, and everything stays in the browser. He built it with Claude from one prompt, on the shell of his notes app. The readme says MIT, tables in IndexedDB, and no backend. The caps are 200 tables, 2,000 rows, 40 columns, 2 MB in a cell, about 20 MB a table, and a 15 MB import. The assistant needs an OpenRouter key, and the readme says that key stays in the browser. The call to the model does not. The readme also says MCP. The post does not mention the key, the caps, or MCP. This page did not open a table.
