Quillwork, alpha, and only docx

Marc's post says Quillwork lets any AI agent edit a real Word file without breaking it. You get the same file back. Only what you asked for changes. Everything else stays byte for byte. The repository is gardan4/quillwork. The license is Apache 2.0. Status is alpha, 0.0.x, and the API can still change. Edits are written as Word tracked changes. A person accepts or rejects them in Word. Untouched parts stay byte for byte, which matches the post. The limitations say docx and docm only. Password-protected files are refused. There is no doc, odt, xlsx, or pptx. Footnotes, hyperlinks, field insertion, and image edits are not implemented. Images can be listed. The post does not say alpha, or that a hyperlink is still out. This page did not edit a contract.
