Native UI Engine, the view stays native

Masahiko's post says native ads scroll with web content, and web modals sit over native UI. He built an engine for Capacitor and Cordova. The repository is webview-native-ui/engine. The license is MIT. The readme says it is a library for plugin developers, on iOS and Android. It projects native appearance into the web layer. It does not reorder the actual native view inside the DOM. A native view above a WebView does not automatically join DOM layout, clicks, or live video. If a suitable image is missing, the integration uses its web fallback. Platform limits still apply, including Liquid Glass. The 23-second demo in the repo was recorded on the iOS Simulator. The post does not say the scroll is a projection, or that the film is a simulator. This page did not install a plugin.
