MaaTV, the TV has to be in developer mode

Pranath's post says his mom could not use the smart TV. Too many apps, profile screens, typing with a remote. He built an app. She taps a show on her phone. The phone drives the TV: opens SonyLIV, searches, hits play. The repository is pranathnaik/maa-tv. There is no LICENSE file. It needs an Android phone on Android 8 or newer, and a Google TV or Android TV on the same Wi-Fi. It was tested on a Toshiba Google TV, Android TV 11, with SonyLIV and ZEE5 already installed and signed in. Setup turns on developer options and USB debugging on the TV, then the phone connects and the TV has to allow it. The post does not mention the debugging switch, or that the repo has no license. This page did not drive a TV.
