The startup idea
Shubham's post introduces Infina as a hands-free way to talk to AI. Say type and it types, say send it and it submits, say open Claude and you are there. No keys, no clicks, and it runs on your computer. The site, infina.so, says the same job: type, send, and switch apps without touching the computer. Infina Labs, Inc. is the name in the footer. The free plan is $0 for 2,000 words, no card. Unlimited is $8.25 a month, billed annually at $99, with a 7-day full refund and cancel anytime. The FAQ says you do not need an internet connection, because the speech models run on the computer. Until the trigger word, it says only an on-device listener is running, and that it cannot record, store, or send. After that, it says the voice is transcribed on the computer, and nothing is stored and nothing leaves. Hands-free also has a fallback: hold Fn and it types. Macs need Apple Silicon, M1 or newer. Intel Macs are not supported, and the FAQ says they will refund a purchase made for one by mistake. Windows is 10 or 11, 64-bit Intel or AMD, at least 4 cores and 8 GB of memory. The page lists apps it drives, including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, ChatGPT, Slack, Gmail, Notion, and Linear. The FAQ says 95% or better for clear speech. That is their number. A big accuracy tile on the page is a zero, which reads as an unfilled stat, so this page is not using it. This page did not install the app.
The opportunity is the third step. Dictation types. The person still clicks Send and still finds the window. A product that only fills the cursor is the tool they already have. A smaller version is one trigger, one app, type and send, and a true sentence about whether audio left the machine. If hands-free only works while a key is held, you rebuilt push-to-talk and should say so.
Do not cite a five-times claim from the page. The tile next to it is a placeholder zero. Do not invent a word count past the 2,000 they published. Do not say it works on an Intel Mac.
The problem
Dictation stops at the cursor. The person still has to click send, and still has to find the app.
Who would pay for this?
- Primary
- Someone who prompts all day and does not want a hand on the keyboard for send.
- Secondary
- A person on Apple Silicon, or a Windows laptop that meets the core and memory line.
- Early adopter
- You, in the one app you already talk to for an hour.
How could it make money?
Possible models. Nothing here is a claim about what Infina Labs charges.
- Free is 2,000 words, no card. Unlimited is $8.25 a month, billed as $99 a year, with a 7-day full refund. Those are the site's numbers.
- If the listener is on-device, the cost is the app, not a minute rate. Do not add a usage fee they did not publish.
What would the MVP look like?
- One trigger word.
- Type and send in one app.
- A way to open that app by voice.
- A line that audio stays on the machine.
- A held key, labeled as the fallback, if hands-free fails.
How to validate the idea
- Use it for one real session. Count how often you still touch send.
- Turn the network off, as the FAQ invites. If commands die, the no-internet line is wrong.
- Have someone else listen to a messy room. Their 95% is for clear speech, and it is theirs.
How to differentiate
- Send and switch, not only dictation.
- On the machine, including with no connection, or you do not claim it.
- Apple Silicon and a stated Windows floor. Intel Macs are out, on their FAQ.
- One price on the page. The free words end.
Why this could be interesting now
The post shows the voice layer on top of the tools people already prompt. The site already has a price, a platform cut, and a privacy sentence. The opening is type, send, and that sentence, in one app.
Original product launch
This launch is inspiration and evidence that someone shipped, not a partnership. The idea above is our reading of the broader opportunity. Infina Labs did not write it.

Product that inspired this idea
Say type, send it, or open Claude, and the app does it. The site says the speech models run on the computer, with 2,000 words free and then $8.25 a month, billed yearly at $99.
