Difficulty is an editorial estimate of technical and operational complexity, not a score.

The startup idea
Yuvraj posted CleanMyApple on October 16. He asks why System Data takes 50 GB or more, and says the app finds junk files, duplicates, large files, and app leftovers. The site is cleanmyapple.in. The page says it clears junk, removes apps completely, leftovers included, and helps find large files. Scan for free, and unlock cleaning when you are ready. The free list is storage scan, junk detection, large-file discovery, leftover detection, and app analysis. Cleaning is locked. Pro is one Mac, valid one year from purchase, ₹349 a year, a one-time payment that is not auto-renewing. The hero line says one-time annual license. The page's before-and-after is 428 GB used to 395 GB used, 33 GB recovered, and it says those results are examples. The tool list on the page is junk, a smart uninstaller, leftovers, large files, and storage intelligence. Duplicate is not among them. This page did not install it.
The opportunity is the review before a delete, not another cleaner. A smaller product is a free scan that says what it will not touch. The post names duplicates. The page does not. The post does not print ₹349 or say cleaning is locked.
Do not quote 33 GB as a customer's result. The page calls it an example. Do not say the license renews itself. The price block says it does not.
The problem
System Data looks huge, and the person still cannot tell junk from files the Mac will rebuild.
Who would pay for this?
- Primary
- A Mac owner who wants to see the junk before anything is deleted.
- Secondary
- Someone who will pay once for a year of cleaning on one Mac.
- Early adopter
- A scan, a locked button, the rupee price.
How could it make money?
Possible models. Nothing here is a claim about what CleanMyApple charges.
- Free scan. Cleaning locked.
- ₹349 for one year, one Mac, not auto-renewing.
- No duplicate tool on the page this fetch read.
What would the MVP look like?
- A scan that changes nothing.
- The clean behind the price.
- Example numbers labeled as examples.
- The tools the page actually lists.
How to validate the idea
- Ask five people whether they expected a duplicate finder.
- If they did, the post oversold the page.
- Do not show a recovered-gigabyte number without the example label.
How to differentiate
- The scan is free and the clean is not.
- One Mac, one year, no renewal.
- The example is labeled.
- Do not become a second CleanMyMac with a quieter name.
Why this could be interesting now
The post and the page agree on junk, leftovers, and large files. The page adds the lock and ₹349. The post adds duplicates the page does not list. The opening is a scan that tells the truth about both.
Original product launch
This launch is inspiration and evidence that someone shipped, not a partnership. The idea above is our reading of the broader opportunity. CleanMyApple did not write it.

Product that inspired this idea
Yuvraj's post says CleanMyApple finds junk, duplicates, large files, and app leftovers. The page says scan for free and unlock cleaning when you are ready. Cleaning is locked on the free tier. Pro is ₹349 a year for one Mac, a one-time payment that does not auto-renew, valid one year. The hero also says one-time annual license. The page lists junk, a full uninstall, leftovers, and large files. It does not list a duplicate finder. The 33 GB recovered on the page is labeled as an example. This page did not scan a Mac.
