A queue between two networks

Take a post that already exists and put it on a second network only after a person has skipped, edited, or approved it.

Difficulty is an editorial estimate of technical and operational complexity, not a score.

Startup idea analysis by Startup Ideas. Last reviewed Oct 6, 2026. How we read a launch.

The startup idea

Crosspost is a Chrome extension from GoFound. The post says it imports posts from X, queues them for LinkedIn, and lets you skip, edit, or change the tone before anything is published. It also says older posts can be sent later, and that a post can carry its counts from the first network. The launch says the extension is free. That is their current offer, not a business model to copy blindly.

The opportunity is the queue, not a social network. People who write in one place rarely rewrite for the second. A tool that assumes the two posts should be identical will get people in trouble. A tool that makes the second draft easy, and refuses to publish until a person looks, is the narrower product.

Tone rewriting with a model is a setting. The company is the approval. If the extension posts by itself, it is a liability.

The problem

Founders mean to post in two places and only ever post in one, because the second one is a rewrite.

Who would pay for this?

Primary
Founders who already write on one network and treat the second as a chore.
Secondary
A small team that wants one person to approve what goes out.
Early adopter
Someone who has a month of posts and an empty second account.

How could it make money?

Possible models. Nothing here is a claim about what GoFound charges.

  • Free for a personal queue. A seat when a team wants a shared calendar or an approval step.
  • The post says the extension is free. Do not invent a price.

What would the MVP look like?

  1. One source.
  2. One destination.
  3. A queue.
  4. Nothing goes out until a person skips, edits, or approves.

How to validate the idea

  • Queue your own last twenty posts. Count how many you would actually publish as they are.
  • If you approve all of them unchanged, you did not need a rewrite. If you approve none, the second network is not your audience.
  • Ask three people to use it for a week. Watch whether they open the queue or turn on auto-post and forget it.

How to differentiate

  • One pair of networks, not every network.
  • Approval first. Auto-post is a switch they turn on later, if ever.
  • Show the original next to the draft.
  • Do not become a scheduler with a calendar nobody fills.

Original product launch

This launch is inspiration and evidence that someone shipped, not a partnership. The idea above is our reading of the broader opportunity. GoFound did not write it.
