An admin whose demo numbers are fake on purpose
A portfolio admin you can click through in the browser, with a sentence on the first screen that the bookings and the visits are made up.

Difficulty is an editorial estimate of technical and operational complexity, not a score.

The startup idea
Jakaria posted that he left Framer and built an admin for his site in Next.js, with a live demo and a GitHub repo, and that it is open source. The readme says Clean One is the admin for one designer's portfolio: projects, bookings, analytics, media, and the text on the site. It says the real admin runs on Cloudflare, Workers, D1, and R2. This repo has no backend. The demo uses the same schema in the browser, filled with a year of made-up projects, bookings, visits, and clicks. A refresh starts over. Only the owner's name, photo, and profile links are real. The license is MIT, copyright Maniruzzaman Jubayer. This page did not book a call.
The opportunity is an admin you can click before you pay for a database, with the fake data labeled. The film's visit counts and the euro amounts are the seed. A smaller product is projects, one booking list, the words on the site, and a first screen that says the numbers are made up. If a visitor thinks the visits are a business, the label failed.
Do not quote the demo's visits, bookings, or prices as his. The readme says they are invented. Do not say the open-source repo is the Cloudflare app. He separated them.
The problem
The admin demo looks like a business. The numbers are seed data, and a refresh throws them away.
Who would pay for this?
- Primary
- A designer or a freelancer who wants one admin for the site, the calls, and the copy.
- Secondary
- Someone who will look at the demo only if the fake numbers are marked.
- Early adopter
- One site, projects you can reorder, one booking, and the made-up label.
How could it make money?
Possible models. Nothing here is a claim about what Clean One charges.
- No price. MIT is the license.
- The hosted admin is his, on Cloudflare. The repo is the demo. Do not sell one as the other.
- A paid host for other people's portfolios would be a different product.
What would the MVP look like?
- Projects.
- One booking list.
- The words on the site.
- A label that the demo data is fake.
- MIT, and a note if the real app is somewhere else.
How to validate the idea
- Ask five designers if they can tell the seed data from a real pipeline.
- If they cannot, do not show a number until the label is on it.
- Do not add a second site until one person keeps a project after a refresh, on a backend they chose.
How to differentiate
- The fake data is confessed.
- Refresh clears it.
- The real stack is named, and it is not this repo.
- Do not become a CRM. One portfolio is the job.
Why this could be interesting now
The post open-sources an admin you can click, and the readme says the numbers are invented. The opening is that sentence on the first screen.
Original product launch
This launch is inspiration and evidence that someone shipped, not a partnership. The idea above is our reading of the broader opportunity. Clean One did not write it.

Product that inspired this idea
Jubayer open-sourced the admin for his portfolio. The readme says the demo numbers are made up, the data stays in the browser, and a refresh clears it. MIT. The admin he actually uses runs on Cloudflare. This repo has no backend.
