Deste, the iPhone is the one with ads

Arda's post says a camera roll of 2,000 screenshots is why he built Deste. Search the text inside them. Try it free on macOS. The App Store listing is free, for Mac, iPhone, and iPad, and it says every feature is free. No subscription and no in-app purchase. OCR and analysis run on the device. Supported devices can use a local Apple Intelligence summary. Other devices get a text summary. Optional iCloud sync uses your own account. On iPhone and iPad the Deste and Library screens can show non-personalized Google AdMob ads. Ads do not block features, and the screenshots are not used for targeting. Mac has no advertising. Deleting an original from Photos needs a separate confirmation. The post is about the Mac search. It does not mention the ads on the phone, or the summary fallback. This page did not search a screenshot.
