Difficulty is an editorial estimate of technical and operational complexity, not a score.

The startup idea
Tiru posted termkit on October 21. He kept missing which Claude Code window was waiting on him, so he built a Sessions pane. Red needs him, yellow is working, green is done. Click to jump to that tab. Old chats are searchable by what you remember. The repository is tirupathipodugu/termkit. The readme says these are Claude Code plugins, MIT. You install the hub first, with a marketplace command. The colored pane is a second plugin, window-board, with its own install line. A click on an open window switches to it. A closed session is searchable, and a click resumes it in a new tab. The same repo also ships dino-wait, a Chrome-dino runner above the prompt while Claude works. The post describes one pane. The readme is two installs, and a closed chat does not reopen the old tab. This page did not install it.
The opportunity is the window that is stuck, made visible without reading every title. A smaller product is the board for open windows only, and a sentence that a closed chat starts a new tab. The dino is a different product in the same repo.
Do not say one command installs the pane. The hub and the pane are separate plugins. Do not say it works outside Claude Code.
The problem
Too many Claude windows, and the one that is waiting is not the one in front.
Who would pay for this?
- Primary
- A person who keeps several Claude Code windows open.
- Secondary
- Someone who will add a marketplace and install a second plugin.
- Early adopter
- One board, one closed chat, and the new-tab line.
How could it make money?
Possible models. Nothing here is a claim about what termkit charges.
- No price. MIT.
- Claude Code is one the user already runs.
- The post does not name a seat.
What would the MVP look like?
- The hub, then window-board.
- Colors for needs-you, working, and done.
- A closed chat that resumes in a new tab.
- The dino named as a separate plugin.
How to validate the idea
- Ask five people which window is waiting, without reading the titles.
- If a closed chat did not come back, search was the missing piece.
- Do not count a new tab as the old window.
How to differentiate
- The color is the state, not the title.
- Search is by what you remember, not the filename.
- It is a plugin, not a new terminal.
- Do not become another coding agent.
Original product launch
This launch is inspiration and evidence that someone shipped, not a partnership. The idea above is our reading of the broader opportunity. termkit did not write it.

Product that inspired this idea
Tiru's post says a Sessions pane colors every Claude Code window. Red needs him, yellow is working, green is done. Click to jump to that tab. Old chats are searchable by what you remember. The readme says termkit is a set of Claude Code plugins, MIT. The hub is one plugin. The colored pane is a second plugin, window-board, installed with its own command. A click on an open window switches to it. A closed session is searchable, and a click resumes it in a new tab. The same repo also ships a Chrome-dino runner that plays while Claude works. The post does not say the pane is a separate install, or that a closed chat opens somewhere new. This page did not install the plugin.
